Board Game Party Alias

How to play

Before the game starts, participants are divided into teams - at least 2 players in each. Each team is given a celebrity card, on which eight names must be written. The filled cards are shuffled and divided into two piles. The teams will take turns.

One of the team members becomes the leader. The leader takes ten to fifteen cards with words from the deck. The number of the explained word on the card corresponds to the number indicated on the division of the playing field occupied by the team`s token. The hourglass turns over. The leader is given one minute: during this time he must explain as many words as possible in other words, and his team members must guess them. A correctly guessed word advances the team token by one division, and mistakes and unguessed words return the token back.

If the token reaches the divisions with the "party", on its next turn the team plays according to special rules.

• Crazy story. The player invents a complete story using the indicated words, and his team members must guess these words.
• Smilies. The presenter explains the words with a given emotion.
• Positions. The presenter explains the words by taking a certain pose.
• Celebrity. The presenter explains which famous people are on the celebrity card.

The game continues until one of the teams` chips reaches the finish line. That team wins the game.
