Board Game Wild - Serengeti

A wonderful family game about filming a documentary in the Serengeti National Park in Africa. This is a brilliantly simple euro with the mechanics of choosing actions, building an engine, and assembling sets, which has received excellent ratings and reviews.

The game will appeal to both beginners and experienced players. The bright design, custom chips, and the three-dimensional Rock of Ages will not leave indifferent lovers of beautiful games.

The best documentary about animals

The participants of the game will become filmmakers and go to the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. There they will try to shoot the best documentary about animals for a competition held by the large scientific organization "Good Comet Society". Over 6 rounds, they will place animals on the field and complete tasks on the scene cards. At the end of the game, the player with the most points wins.

Game progress

Each round, participants take turns, clockwise, performing basic actions. On their turn, a player places their own marker in a cell on the action field, paying 1 or 2 coins for it. If a player cannot or does not want to perform an action, they pass until the end of the round. The round ends when all players pass.

Basic actions allow you to place predators, ungulates, large animals, or migratory herbivores on the playing field, swap animals, move an animal, take a scene card, or update the supply of scene cards.

A free action can be used to remove a scene by fulfilling the condition on an existing scene card. To fulfill the condition on the scene card, you need to place the animals on the field according to the diagram on the card. After filming the scene, the player places the card in his video gallery, receives a reward and uses the symbols on this card until the end of the game.

Symbols on the filmed scene cards:

• Resources (food / special effects) provide the corresponding resources during preparations for the next round.
• Plants (leaf / flower / fruit). Filmed scene cards bring points for these symbols.
• Animal. This is a "joker", which is considered any animal during the award ceremony.
• Like. Players receive points for "like" symbols at the end of the game.
• Uniqueness. Also brings additional points.

Preparation for the next round

Players update their scene card supply, receive 1 scene card each (and can buy more), take coins (according to the board) and resources (according to the resource symbols on the filmed scene cards).

• Award Ceremony (before rounds 4 and 6). Players add up the prize animals on their filmed scene cards, then add the "wildcard" animal symbols. The player with the most such animals wins the victory points.
• Great Migration (rounds 4, 5, and 6). Players remove animals from the cells of the playing field indicated on the Great Migration map.

End of the game

The game ends after the 6th round. Players add points for «likes» and their specialist cards to the points scored during the game.
