Quick Start Adventures in Night City!

This is a quick start booklet for the famous role-playing system about an alternative reality in which the Earth has been taken over by corporations, and every person can modify their body with cyber implants. The "Cyberpunk" system was first released back in 1988, and since then it has been supplemented and modified until it came to the form of the fourth and currently newest edition "Cyberpunk RED". 

Immerse yourself in the world of netrunners who are fascinatingly diving into the Web, rocketmen, fixers and nomads who are looking for a place under the sun of dehumanized corporations, and try not to get cyberpsychosis yourself by excessively replacing parts of your body with implants. This booklet with the starting adventure "Getting Paid" will help you understand the accessible, yet very diverse system during your first mission.

System Features

The cyberpunk system has a fairly simple check mechanic, based on rolling a ten-sided dice (d10) with the addition of skill and ability modifiers. However, behind the simplicity lies incredible diversity: the methods of using skills, the incredible number of equipment, weapons and implants, as well as the combat rules that allow for creative use of the environment, give players and the master enormous room for maneuver. In addition, these checks have rules for critical success and critical failure (for a result of 10 and 1 on the dice, respectively), and in passing the checks you can be helped by allies or luck from your personal pool with an additional roll. And the combat mechanics, with a number of variations of actions during a short round of 3 seconds of game time, are full of possibilities and take into account all possible actions, including reloading and the special difference between melee and ranged combat, not to mention the use of weapons.

Shoot vehicles and use cover, throw opponents at each other and use them as a shield, buy and load special cartridges into your weapons, and also use implants and the latest technologies to increase your capabilities! The world of «Cyberpunk RED» in maximum detail: factions, technologies, corporations and geography will create the backdrop for the best sci-fi adventures of your life.
