Khukhlyk in Ukrainian demonology is a small, usually benevolent creature or spirit associated with nature, mainly forests and mountains. The image of Khukhlyk is most often associated with children`s fairy tales or folklore stories, in which he appears as a character who helps the lost or those who are looking for a way. Sometimes it is associated with guardian spirits of the forest, who maintain order and ensure that people do not destroy nature.
Properties and traits of Khukhlyk:
